The match started slowly for us, but an early breakthrough occurred as Steve Judd capitalised on a short cross-field pass, securing the lead with a first-time shot. Despite facing a robust opponent, the equaliser, justly earned based on the overall play, Halfway levelled the score. A potential lead was narrowly missed when Clarkey’s strike hit the bar. Floyd Beckett's spectacular free-kick before halftime reinstated our advantage at 2-1. The second half showcased our dominance, with moments of exceptional ball control. The crucial third goal arrived with an impressive top-bins finish by Chris Briggs. A well-earned victory over a physically imposing side marked a satisfying outcome.

Walkers are now handily placed in fourth position going into our next match against an in form Worcester City Strollers.
