Up and Coming
Formentera del Segura (26th - 27th September)
Our tournament will be over 2 days in September with 11 teams from across Europe competing. The format will be a round robin tournament, teams will all play each other over the 2 days. It is an 8 aside over 50s male tournament, squads of 14 (TBC). Rules are TBC, but it will be I imagine, 3 touch, normal walking football rules. The registration cost is 100โฌ per team, we can advise on travel and accommodation options. We are willing to help, wherever we can. There will be presentation for 1st, 2nd. & 3rd place. Player and Goalkeeper of the tournament. After the presentation on day 2 there is hospitality including a BBQ and entertainment into the night. This cost is included for the 14 (TBC) squad members. We have teams confirmed from - Portugal, France, Ireland, England, Spain, The Basque Country, Lanzarote & Morocco. Flights to Alicante or Murcia.
Canaries (9th-11th November)
We will again be playing at Top Trainer for a weekend of Walking Football. Price is the same as last year, 25 euros per player for two days of football in these age groups: menโs 50+ and 60+ and womenโs over 35s and over 50s. This covers Top Trainerโs charge, exclusively, per player. All teams will be 7 aside with10 per team maximum, so with a possible 3 subs. Only one underage player: for the menโs, no younger than 40 and for the womenโs no younger than 25. The rules again will be FA walking football rules with no penalties until the semifinals and finals, same as last year.
Camposol Walking Football Club (11th - 12th March)
Camposol Walking Football Club, based in Mazarron, Murcia, Spain, are now in the process of planning their annual tournament for next year. They are proposing to hold an over 60 tournament on Tuesday 11th March 2025 and an over 50 tournament on Wednesday 12th March 2025. They are also looking at providing tournament packages for overseas teams that would like to come to this beautiful part of sunny Spain ๐ช๐ธ. Pafos United Walking Football Tournament (5th - 6th April)
Pafos United Walking Football Club will be hosting the first Menโs Jeavons Eurotir trophy competition for over 50โs and over 60โs in Cyprus. Dates will be 5th - 6th April 2025. For further information please email puwfc.fixtures@yahoo.com
