Algarve Football Tours proudly presents the 10th EuroCopa 50+ and 60+ Walking Football Tournament 2025 The dates are Monday 28th and Tuesday the 29th April. Following the success this year we are looking forward to hosting another great tournament in 2025. Your package this year will include:
Hotel Accommodation
Accommodation in a 4 star hotel located in Central Albufeira.
We use: Hotel Brisa Sol (Provisionally reserved awaiting deposits)

We offer 1 bedroom apartments for twin/double use for 2 people sharing & studio apartments for single use. In some instances we can offer Triple rooms for which prices will be given upon request.
All hotels include breakfast. Paladim Cerro Alagomar Aparthotel offer additional half board service price upon request . Real Bellavista Hotel also offer All Inclusive again prices upon request.
We pre organise all your rooms to fit with your requests and do our best to allocate team rooms near to each other. We have some flexibility should you have changes during the booking process if players gets injured or have to drop out.
The hotels are all in a great location between Old Town Albufeira and The Strip in Oura. There is a new City Tax which came into operation this May. €2.00 per night per person ( maximum 7 nights payment) payable at the hotel reception on check in.
If you would like to extend your stay for yourself, partners or the whole team please do not hesitate to ask. Some teams like to extend their stay as a vacation. We get preferential group rates so we can offer very good deals for teams, supporters & friends for extended stays.
Entry to the EuroCopa 2 day Tournament
The tournament will run over 2 days, Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th April
Teams are 7-a-side (including the goalkeeper) with 2 age categories 50+ and 60+.
All teams play 2 days of football with the first day qualification rounds and second day with Cup, Trophy & Plate categories. Finishing with a trophy presentation.
Please note quotations are given based on a minimum of 10 players staying 3, 4 or 5 nights ( Note some hotels have a minimum 4 night stay).
Your team size and numbers travelling is entirely up to you. We have competitive rates for non players.
Matches will be officiated by match officials who are experienced with walking football.
Ages
Airport Transfers
You will have your own private transfers on arrival and departure from Faro airport. This is based on your team travelling together, this maybe shared with another team if they arrive or depart on the same flight.
If you have people arriving separately there will be an additional supplement to pay. If you have individuals 1's or 2's they will most likely need to arrange their own transport.
Tournament Transport
Transport to & from the tournament from your hotel on both days. This will be shared with other teams depending on numbers and buses size.
Medical Team and Ambulance
There will be a private private ambulance & crew at the stadium throughout the tournament providing first aid treatment. Should hospitalisation be necessary they will transport you to a private hospital. You must have your passport with you.
We also advise that each teams brings their own small medical first aid kit, plasters etc and pain relief. We are NOT permitted to dispense any medications such as paracetamol etc. The stadium and the ambulance crew both have defibrillators.
Complementary Water
Each player will be given 2 litres per person per day. This does not include supporters. There is a cafe on site where beverages and snacks can be purchased.
Sports Masseur
Algarve Football Tours offers each player 10 minute sessions with our sports masseur. David is free of charge. He is able to treat most leg & back issues to help throughout the tournament.
Trophy Presentation
There will be medals for each participant, there will be Winners & Runners Up trophies for the 3 categories in day 2 . Presented by our local Mayor.
Local Guide /Representative
Your designated guide will be on hand during your stay to help ensure everything runs smoothly. Your guide will meet you at the airport and be on hand at the hotel to assist with a speedy check in.
An itinerary meeting will be held on check in to give local information, recommendations and details regarding the football.
We can book help book pitches for training sessions ( best to book early as there are limited spaces) restaurant recommendations/bookings or other activities.
