Solihull Moors Set for Eurocopa Algarve Challenge
Solihull Moors Walking Football Club is heading to Portugal this April to compete in the prestigious Eurocopa Algarve 50+ Tournament, held in Albufeira on 28th/29th April 2025.
Drawn in Group C, the Moors will face tough international competition including Odiaxere WFC, Silver Coast Strollers, Lincoln United, WF Santos, Luso Africa, Torquay United, and Clacton Knights. With a strong squad and momentum behind them, the team is ready to take on the challenge and represent the Moors badge with pride.
The Eurocopa Algarve has grown into one of the top walking football tournaments in Europe, attracting teams from across the UK, Portugal, and beyond. It’s not just about football—it's about friendship, fitness, and the spirit of the game.
Club Captain said:
“This is a brilliant opportunity for our players to experience international competition in a fun but competitive setting. We’re proud to be flying the flag for Solihull and for walking football in the West Midlands.”
The squad has been preparing intensely for the event, balancing training with tactical sessions to sharpen both fitness and game awareness. With a mix of seasoned veterans and fresh legs, Solihull Moors are looking to make their mark.
